Glorias and praise for all ages together

1. Create your own praise party

Praising God exuberantly with singing and dancing is a bit of a lost art, especially in the UK (stiif upper lip and all that!), so encourage your group to bring some of their own appropriate tracks that really inspire them to worship and praise God – and let your hair down.

Fluorescent lighting kills atmosphere, so make sure you turn the lights off and create some ambient lighting.

2. Singing – is SO good for the soul!

There’s nothing quite like singing your heart out with lots of other people.

Choose some really good songs (not just the standards available in churches) that are uplifting and inspirational. Seek them out in the charts.

Ask a group to bring their favourite records/CDs, or set up a ‘Desert Island Discs’ moment with your three favourite songs, explaining why they mean so much to you.
